The best thing about local commercial radio is we have the luxury of attending to both of your needs.
We’ve got access to the music past and present from your favorite world-famous recording artists; but if somebody local is making a good crack at it, we’ve got space for them as well.
That’s exactly what’s going on this week when we re-introduce Maiah Wynne to her old hometown audience. Now based in Portland, the Hellgate grad will release a new single featuring Missoula cellist Bethany Joyce later this month. October 19, for those who like specificity.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Wynne and her multi-instrumental prowess, the 21-year-old took 2nd place at the 2018 Museum of pop Culture & KEXP’s “Sound Off” competition in Seattle and accompanied Portland Cello Project last May at the Top Hat.
